Procedure and who it concerns
It concerns a non-EU citizen who has entered the country legally with any entry visa or is legally residing in the country and owns, in full ownership and possession, real estate in Greece owns in full ownership and possession of the immovable property in Greece, through a legal entity established in Greece or another EU member-state, whose shares or corporate shares it holds in its entirety, It has concluded a long-term contract for complex tourist accommodation or a timeshare contract for tourist accommodation. He acquired in full ownership and possession as intestate or by will heir or as a result of parental benefit, real estate of the objective value of two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) euros, and is an adult.
The minimum value of the real estate at the time of its acquisition, as well as the total contractual rent of the leases of hotel accommodation or tourist residences of this article, as it results from the notarial deeds of transfer, is set at two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) euros.

Duration and which others it concerns
Residence permit for five (5) years, with the possibility of renewal for an equal duration, each time, provided that the real estate remains in the ownership and possession of the non-EU citizen or the contracts remain in force and the other conditions provided for by law are met. The application for the granting or renewal of a residence permit is accompanied by a fee of 2,000 euros.
The above non-EU citizens may be accompanied by the members of his/her family: the other of the spouses or partners with whom the non-EU citizen has entered into a civil partnership in Greece, the unmarried joint children of the spouses or partners under the age of 21, the unmarried children of the sponsor or the other of the spouses or partners, if custody has been legally entrusted to him/her for the children of the sponsor and for the children of the other of the spouses or partners to him/her under the age of 21, the direct ascendants of the spouses or partners). Family members are issued, upon their application, with an individual residence permit that expires at the same time as the sponsor’s residence permit.
General information
The residence permits issued to the non-EU citizen and the members of his family do not establish a right of access to any form of work. Periods of absence from the country do not prevent the renewal of the residence permit.
